Lipoma

A lipoma exists and grows under our skin. It is a fatty lump situated between the skin and muscle layer. This can move easily when applied pressure and generally occur around the neck, shoulders, abdomen, and arms. Usually harmless but would require attention and care in case there is pain or the lipoma is found growing.

Abscess

Most often as the abscess is caused by an infection or collection of puss that is built within the tissues of your body. An intra-abdominal abscess is developed when an organ in the abdomen is compromised and bacteria are capable of entering the stomach. These conditions include- penetrating trauma, bowel rupture, appendicitis, and others.

Haemorrhoids

Also known as piles, haemorrhoids are swelling or enlarged blood vessels found inside or at the bottom of the rectum or anus. Usually, without any symptoms, this condition is not easy to understand by individuals.

Fistula

An abdominal opening in the digestive tract, a gastrointestinal fistula cause gastric fluids to leak through the stomach and intestine. Leaks that go through the intestines, go through a part called the entero-enteral fistulas. This condition is risky and can cause infection if fluids seep through organs or the skin.  

GERD

The suppression of the sphincter muscle at the lower end of your esophagus can lead to acid reflux. As a grave condition, this can also cause heartburn and other symptoms of distress. Further, consistent reflux can also cause Gastrointestinal Reflux Disease (GERD) causing discomfort.

Gall stones or Bile Stones

Known for causing severe, and sudden abdominal pain, gallstones can lead to the uneasiness that may even last up to 1 to 5 hours. You can feel the pain at the center of your stomach or just under the ribs on the right-hand side. If not treated on time, this may spread over to your side or shoulder blade.

Appendicitis

Caused due to the blockage of your appendix, Appendicitis can be caused due to various infections, parasites, viruses, or bacteria in your digestive tract. This may also happen when the appendix is blocked due to stool trapping. It is the acute inflammation of the vermiform appendix, leading to immense pain in the abdomen or anorexia. This can be treated with the surgical removal of the appendix.

Mastectomy

A breast cancer surgery, a Mastectomy procedure involves removing of entire breast, nipple, or fascia of the pectoralis major muscles, and the skin. The surgery is different under different conditions and may require different treatment.

Colon problems

Affecting the gastrointestinal tract, colon problems can lead to different digestive issues like constipation, nausea, bloating, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), or even GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease). If left untreated for a long time, they can also lead to other diseases in the digestive tract.

Intestine issues

An unhealthy diet, lack of an active lifestyle, or even symptoms of bowel problems like bloating, gas, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, or weight loss can mean the existence of intestine issues. Even colon problems can cause inflammation and other abdominal distress.

Hernia –inguinal, incisional

A hernia is caused when an organ or fatty tissue protrudes through a weak spot in a surrounding muscle or tissue. Like when the intestines break through a weak area in the abdominal wall. A hernia occurs between the chest and hips and also appears on the upper thigh and groin areas. There are different types of hernia, two of which include- inguinal which is caused at the inner groin, and incisional which is caused by an incision. Hernia can be a life-threatening condition and an inguinal hernia can be fixed only through surgery.
